Building Bridges to Success: Highlights from the Skills for Success Program Year 3 Culmination Event

On April 29, we gathered at the Mano Amiga Academy to celebrate a significant milestone in the journey of our Skills for Success Program Year 3 participants. It was an inspiring occasion filled with stories of growth, gratitude, and a shared commitment to learning and giving back. Accompanied by their partners and family members, participants celebrated their remarkable 8-month journey of progress and success.

During the event, participants took the stage to share their personal stories of growth, expressing gratitude for the comprehensive training, workshops, and cash grant they received. They recognized the value of these resources in enabling them to develop effective strategies, establish their brands, make informed decisions, and expand their businesses. Their passion and determination were truly inspiring, reflecting the impact of the Skills for Success Program.

Participants expressed their plans for the future, emphasizing their desire to pay forward the support and guidance they received. We were honored to have Mr. Dennis Orlina, our mentor in business continuity planning, join us at the event. Virtually joined by Ms. Lynn Pinugu, the Executive Director of Mano Amiga, and Mr. Dennis Perez from Unilever, they extended their congratulations and well wishes to the participants for their future success. Their collective support, along with our other esteemed mentors, Mr. Lean Purawan, Ms. Liana and Mr. Zachary Mojica, Ms. Michelle Barretto, Mr. Gerome Cuisia, and Ms. Aire Desamero, has played a crucial role in ensuring the program's success. Their guidance has been instrumental in shaping the participants' journeys.
