Mano Amiga Academy’s engaging curriculum focuses on helping middle school students to become increasingly independent learners while preparing them to succeed in high school and beyond. 

They are asked to develop skills in critical thinking and creative problem solving through XSEED.

The Middle School curriculum focuses on:

1. Developing the students to become independent, 21st Century learners

• XSEED is a proven and research based academic program for schools that builds thinking skills & problem solving confidence in children. 

• The XSEED program aligns with existing international standards and K-12 standards of DepEd. 

• We implement this in our major subjects of Math, English, and Science.

2. Building students’ character

• We provide holistic learning to all our students by integrating the school core values in all subjects. 

• Mano Amiga Academy also implements the Integral Formation method of education which focuses on complete development of all dimensions of a child: intellectual, character, spiritual and values formation.

3. Keeping students engaged and motivated

Our framework for learning helps keep middle schoolers interested and engaged with:

• Project Based Learning - students learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects.

• Student centered activities where students are encouraged to think and learn by themselves and by collaborating with their peers.

Social and Emotional Learning activities which help students develop a growth mindset and forge positive relationships with their peers and beyond.
