Changing lives through Skills To Succeed

November 20, 2017

‘Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na ito’. For the past few weeks, these are most of the things we’ve been receiving, reading and hearing from the graduates of Mano Amiga’s Skills to Succeed Program. Last October 28, 2017, 29 mothers graduated from the 1st cohort of Skills to Succeed Program.

The 4 saturdays of these mommys were spent in Mano Amiga Academy. The participants underwent a 4 day training, Skills to Succeed (SKS), a program granted by Accenture Philippines. The SKS program aims to train these mothers in the fields of entrepreneurship and culinary. The modules for entrepreneur focuses on basic management concepts, marketing, financial management and business planning. On the other hand, culinary modules focuses on food safety, basic culinary terms and skills, and the actual cooking. More than a training, the programs aims to equip the participants with skills to put up their own business or to be employed by our business partners.

For the next cohort that will be on the months of January and March, we encourage more participants to join the program. Also, to be a partner of this program. Mano Amiga continues to instill change in the Mother’s lives.’
