New Year Message: Reimagining Education Together

Dear Partners and Friends, 

As we begin a new year, Mano Amiga Philippines also embarks on its 15th anniversary year. It never ceases to amaze me to reflect and look back on how a very small preschool that started in a model unit in 2008, has now grown into a full campus.

Our work has evolved and expanded, but our mission remains the same - to provide children and families with the skills, opportunities, and holistic formation to lift themselves out of poverty and reach their potential. Over the past year, we focused on responding to the changing needs with hybrid executions of our education and development programs that leverage the scaling power of technology, while bringing back the social connectedness and meaningful engagements that could only happen through face-to-face interaction and community immersion. We share with you some stories from our 2022 initiatives, which I hope will give some insight into our efforts.

The landscape we operate in continues to be quite challenging, but because of your trust and generous support, our work has never been more relevant, and we march on with zeal and renewed strength.  On behalf of Mano Amiga Philippines’ hardworking and dedicated faculty and staff, thank you for sharing in our mission and for being our invaluable partner in uplifting lives.
